Dear Sony,
Sorry about the phone. It was awesome. Love at first sight and a great companion documenting my travels and adventures this year. It was truly the best mobile I’ve ever owned. From the surfing beaches of Tofino in the west to the most eastern point in North America at Cape Spear, Newfoundland. The urban jungles of Toronto and Vancouver to the mountains of Jamaica. Even rock climbing in Flatrock and Squamish. Sadly, my lovely Xperia Z5 met its doom in the badlands of southern Alberta. I let it slip from my hands. It gave its life while on a cross Canada assignment with me making great photos. Something in which it excelled. “Your story never looked so good”, says your ad campaign. It was true. But, sadly, no more.
My Instagram and FaceBook pages will never be the same.
Because the sd card was full I may never see its last photos. It was saving to internal memory. Amazingly, it still turns on but without a touch screen I can no longer unlock it or get it to connect to a computer to recover the photos.
As a professional photographer, this is the greatest pain one can feel.
Sincerely,
Greg
