By far my favourite performance at Sound Symposium Tuesday was by Jaron Freeman-Fox and The Opposite of Everything at the LSPU Hall. This band defies description with it genre bending, multi-fusion sound that is freshest thing I have heard on the Canadian music scene in a long time. Jaron introduced one song as a Afro-Celt-gypsy-Indo-Mongolian drinking tune. They were a treat. You can find out more on their website. Photo by Greg Locke © 2012
