Sound Symposium 2012 – Day 3
Day 3 of Sound Symposium XVI started with a fantastic middle eastern drum workshop with Ken Shorely and closed out with a pair of shows at the LSPU Hall that included the Cuban percussion and dance troupe, Idele. Here, dancer Melissa Noventa introduces us to one of the many Afro-Cuban deities that inspire much of the music of Cuba. Photo by Greg Locke © 2012
