20120818_7343-20inWIDE-webFrom the Norse to the Basque, from the English to the French, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese, those who came to Newfoundland  sailed the North Atlantic to get here. The circumnavigation of the island of Newfoundland is still one of the great cruises since Captain James Cook charted its waters in 1763.
