Be it the East Coast Trail on the Avalon, the Long Range Traverse in Gros Morne National Park on the west coast or the hundreds of kilometers of ancient coastal trails that once connected the remote and isolated fishing villages of Newfoundland, hiking and camping exploration is diverse and rewarding enough for the day trekking beginner or the hard core back country adventurer. Not to mention the icebergs, whales, seabirds and other wildlife you will experience along the way.
