Weddings, parties …anything. That’s Cheri Brushett. Loves weddings, kids and family portraits but can still nail your ad campaign and business photography. That’s because she has a world of experience and adventure in high pressure situations. Nothing fazes her.
She has traveled through 18 countries on 5 continents (North and South America, Africa, Europe and Asia) Trekked Machu Picchu, hiked at the base of Kilimanjaro, explored the Serengeti, bungee jumped off the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe and skydived in the Alberta Rockies.
Cheri learned to dive in the freezing cold waters of Newfoundland in 1998 and became a certified PADI Dive instructor in South Africa 2006. She has taught in Zanzibar, Mozambique, Canada and has dove in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans as well as the Caribbean Sea. In fact, it seems Cheri has spent most of life on or in the water. She has been water skiing since age 6 and is an experienced kayaker.
Out of the water she learned to snowboard in Lake Louise in 1999 and became instructor since 2008.
Her love for photography developed during her travels and she came home to study at NSCC in Halifax.”I discovered my passion is making pictures of people. I Love being able to connect through my camera and still the moments as they pass.”, says Cheri. …who also has VERY NEAT handwriting!
