…on the campaign trail

I finally got to do a bit of federal election coverage and caught up with the Liberal campaign at the GEO Centre in St. John's where national party leader, Michael Ignatieff (L) spoke to a packed room with some of the Newfoundland candidates, including St. John's South – Mount Pearl incumbent, Siobhan Coady (R), backing him up.

Now that Newfoundland and Labrador's hydro energy projects are on the lips of federal party leaders as campaign promises the knives come out in Quebec and Ontario and the true nature of Canada's interprovincial relations shows its face. Is this where the discussion begins about the purpose of confederation and whats best for Canada instead of the sniveling children?
